Scott is a 40-year veteran in the commercial and film industry. He has directed feature films, documentaries, and over a thousand commercials. He is a storyteller first and he understands that the best stories are personal. He helps everyone be at their best and feel safe and comfortable, whether they’re on set every day or it’s their first day.  His work has been honored by the New York International Film Festival, the Emmys, the International Broadcasting Awards, Clios, National Addy Awards, the Mobius Awards, and many international film festivals including: London, Chicago, Atlanta, Palm Springs, Breckenridge, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Marco Island, Hollywood, Best of Fest, KidsFirst, and Best Film at the International Family Film Festival.

With over 20 years of experience in the film and commercial production industry, Jake’s work includes everything from award-winning documentaries and commercials, to short films & corporate videos. Jake holds an MBA from the University of Utah. He is a former ad agency Creative Director has helped launch and manage multiple ad agencies and creative & film production teams. With experience filming all over the United States and Internationally, Jake is the swiss-army knife of production at Memoir Films.
